Northern Road Service Ltd
Established by Bernie & Rhonda Wiebe in 2007, we are a Safe Certified road maintenance and construction company based in Vanderhoof, BC.
We currently have multiple motor graders, excavators of various sizes, dump trucks, plow trucks, water trucks, lowbeds and a dozer.
We maintain approximately 1200 kilometers of road for Canfor (Plateau) and Dunkley Lumber. We are a family owned business that is supported by the industry in and around this area. We value safety, efficiency, and quality.
Our mission is to provide timely and cost effective road maintenance for the Vanderhoof area forestry roadway network, while at the same time making responsible improvement to facilitate safe and efficient travel.
We have road maintenance contracts with (but not limited to) Canfor (Plateau), Dunkley Lumber, and the Sinclair Group. In the summer we provide grading, watering and calcium application, road activation, reactivation, temporary and permanent bridge installations and civil/industrial excavation. In the winter we provide snow removal and sanding and general road maintenance. All of our operators hold a level one first aid ticket and must adhere to strict internal company safety policies.

Be part of a team that values both hard work and each other. We employ a general foreman, 17 operators, 4 heavy duty mechanics and a safety coordinator.
